Westside Boxing Club has always been about its community and one of the greatest privileges I have every year is awarding the member(s) of the year.

I wanted to reflect on what that truly means.

We started from very humble beginnings, in fact, Westside Boxing Club was not meant to exist. It all began with a post on the 4069 board during the bushfires of 2020, where I looked to offer to train people in exchange for a donation of money to the bushfire appeal. Only planning on going for a few weeks, people kept asking if we could continue and years later we continue to grow.

The culture of Westside Boxing has always remained the same over that time frame and has always reflected a place of acceptance, community spirit, and fitness for all.
